Decimal to Words Calculator

Write any decimal in words three ways: said aloud digit by digit, as a fraction with the place value named — 0.075 is seventy-five thousandths, not hundredths — and in cheque format rounded to two places.

Up to 15 digits before the point and 30 after.

How to write a decimal in words

Three readings, used in different places. Said aloud, the digits after the point are spoken one at a time. As a fraction, they are read as a whole number followed by the place value. On a cheque, the amount is rounded to two places and written over 100.
